The National Peanut Board (NPB) headed to this year's Mom 2.0 Summit with a clear mission: reach parents and content creators with a message that could ripple far beyond the conference floor.
Held annually, the Mom 2.0 Summit draws an audience of over 1,000 parent influencers, content creators and members of the media. NPB had the opportunity to spread awareness about the importance of early introduction (EI) of peanut foods to infants, and to connect with an audience of influential creators uniquely positioned to carry that message back to their own communities and followers.
From a bustling booth presence to an intimate influencer gathering, NPB met attendees where they were, sparking genuine conversations about the science behind early introduction and Little Peanut’s mission to prevent peanut allergies.
A highlight of the weekend was the private influencer event, where Dr. Ruchi Gupta, board-certified pediatrician and Founding Director of the Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, addressed an intimate group of mom creators with what every new parent should know about early introduction. The Q&A was lively, with engaging questions flowing throughout the session. The enthusiasm in the room reflected just how relevant this topic is to new parents.
Overall, the Mom 2.0 Summit marked a successful entry into this powerful community. The connections made over the weekend set a strong foundation for continued engagement with parent influencers. Read reflections from NPB’s CMO, Dena Malsom, here.
