ATLANTA, GA (November 3, 2025) — The National Peanut Board (NPB) will hold its tri-annual board and committee meetings December 9–11, 2025, in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the American Peanut Council’s (APC) Winter Conference. Meetings will take place at the Fairmont Washington, D.C.
During this session, NPB board members and industry partners will discuss several key agenda items aimed at advancing the organization’s mission to improve the economic condition of U.S. peanut farmers and their families through compelling promotion and groundbreaking research.
Among the major topics to be addressed are:
- Election of 2026 Officers: The Board will vote to approve new officers who will help guide NPB’s strategic direction in the coming year.
- Crop Year 2024 Compliance Report: The annual compliance report will be presented, highlighting adherence to USDA-AMS program requirements.
- Export Program Update: The American Peanut Council will provide an overview of peanut export initiatives and global market performance.
- Health Nut Club Recap: Staff will share highlights from this year’s successful Health Nut Club outreach to Gen-Z students on college campuses.
- Preview of FY26 Activities: Attendees will receive an update on exciting new initiatives planned for Fiscal Year 2026, including marketing and research projects designed to further expand peanut consumption and awareness.
The meeting will also include committee sessions covering research, promotions, finance, and policy updates, as well as two evening events recognizing outgoing board members and NPB’s outgoing Board Chair, Casey Cox Kerr.
The National Peanut Board’s collaboration with the American Peanut Council during the Winter Conference underscores the peanut industry’s shared commitment to innovation, market expansion, and sustainability from farm to consumer.
